VERY RARE specimen from Guanajuato, Mexico. Very shiny Valencianite crystals partially covered by Quartz and yellow Calcite crystals. Biggest crystal: 2.6 cm.

Valencianite is a typical mineral from Valenciana mine. This mine was closed in 2005, after this and other mines in Guanaguato city where sold to a Canadian company. After the sale, Valenciana mine was flooded and no one removed the water, so the mine did not work since then.

GREAT specimen from Guanajuato. Very rare. Light yellow Dolomite after Calcite crystals. Some of the crystals are hollow, showing remains of Calcite inside. This is an AMAZING specimen from Papachacra. Several smoky Quartz and Albite crystals on Feldspar. Four transparent and violet Fluorite crystals aesthetically placed on the matrix. Tree Fluorite crystals are cubic. The fourth and biggest one (1.2 cm x 1.0 cm x 0.9 cm) is a complex crystal, and is taking the most special place in the specimen. Stunning specimen, much better in person!!!! You will love it!!!!
